Ms. Jarrette's practice involves all aspects of family law, as well as probate, guardianship and conservatorship issues. Ms. Jarrette has been associated with the Santa Barbara County District Attorneys Office, and the Lompoc Battered Women's Shelter. She was also president of the Lompoc Valley Democratic Club and has acted as financial director for a congressional campaign. Ms. Jarrette is a member of the Santa Barbara County Bar Association (co-chair, Family Law Section), the Santa Ynez Bar Association, the Family Law Bar Association and the Santa Barbara Collaborative Law Group.  Ms. Jarrette has been appointed "Minor's Counsel" by the Superior Court, has presided over small claims matters as a Judge Pro Tem, and has served as an Arbitrator for the Santa Barbara County Bar Association.

Ms. Jarrette received her J.D. with honors from the Santa Barbara College of Law, after receiving the Corpus Juris Secundum and AmJur Awards, as well as a Board of Trustee's Merit Scholarship.
